Does your special needs child love to dance?!

We would love to begin providing a class specifically tailored for students ages 11-18 with Down Syndrome, Autism and other developmental disabilities called Legends Dance Abilities - LDA. This class will allow students to gain balance between the two halves of the body, express emotion, and gain muscle control, all while having a ball and making some new friends. 

Legends Dance Abilities is a great way for children with special needs to get involved in an extracurricular activity while improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization!

Dance can also be a unique and effective way to reach students with special needs because it is nonverbal. Through simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, and rhythm.

Once we begn to gain more interest and can form a class we will begin with a 6 Week Session. We will explore different types of dance. Introducing jazz, ballet, hip hop, basic line dancing and tumbling!

To ensure the comfortability of each student in a new environment we encourage a parent or siblng to attend class with the student for the few weeks.

WE OFFER SCHOOL FIELD TRIP CLASSES!
