Elite Legends Academy of Dance is proud to offer a wide array of dance and tumbling genres. We take immense pride in our syllabus and lesson plans. Our operating system allows our teachers to track each student's progress and share that directly with the student's guardians. Throughout the course of our 9-month session, your student will hit 3 checkpoints to track their progress. This gives the students and guardians a clear idea of the progression within the program.

Below you will find descriptions of each dance class offered. 

Ballet: A classical ballet program that focuses on technique, terminology, flexibility and overall strength training. Barre, center and across the floor. Each level of curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate. 

Contemporary/Lyrical: Designed for the student with previous years of ballet training. Taking the training from ballet, jazz and modern and interpreting the lyrics of the music. Telling a story with body movement and emotions. Fluidity and abstract body movements. Progression over the years will become more complex and intricate. 

Jazz: Your child will learn proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns.  Class is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement. Broadway, Street and Contemporary Jazz will all be taught. 

Tap: Designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of Broadway and Street style tap. Exercises will focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. Developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun! 

Hip-Hop: High-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping and much more! Encouraging students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual styles and personalities to the floor. Students will build stamina and strength to properly execute tricks and body movements.  

Mommy (Daddy, Grandma, Aunt..etc) and Me: The perfect class for you and your child who is of walking age (1-2 years old) who has the need to move and groove! This class focuses on basic warm up movements, group dances, games and activities, and the fundamentals of being in a class environment. 

Improv: This class teaches your child to think quick on their feet! Dancers will gain a new level of confidence, personal creative expression and musicality. 

Leaps and Turns: Dancers will have the opportunities to perfect moves they are learning in class. Whether it be a turn, jump or combination. The floor will be theirs. Teachers will be there to assist and coach the students along, helping them to become a true Elite Legend! 

Stretch & Strength: Focusing on the absolute range of movement in a joint or series of joints, and length in muscles that cross the joints to induce a bending movement or motion. Examples: "Flexistretcher", resistance bands, calf and foot stretching. Along with a consintration of a variety of leg holds. Let's not forget about being strong! We do a variety of strength and conditioning exercises as well!

Tumbling and Acro: Working through a series of USASF tumbling skills along with classic acrobatic skills. You must aquire all skills within each level before you can proceed ot the next.

Private Lessons: Use this time to work with an instructor of your choice one on one. 30 or 60 minute increments.

Mommy and Me - 1-2 year olds

Mini - 3-5 year olds

Youth I - Ages 6-9 new or with some experience

Youth II - Ages 6-10 with experience

Junior I - Ages 10-12 beginner or with some experience

Junior II and III - Ages 10-14 with experience

Tenn and Senior - Ages 14 and up with experience
